Safety Training
Safety Training
Some of the classes we offer require employees to either pass a written test or show hands-on proficiency or both. These classes can be administered at most business locations and include the following:
Forklift Training
Our Forklift Training class meets the training requirements for OSHA regulation 1910.178. This class is ideal for both the new operator and experienced ones. We provide training for all classes of forklifts including rough terrain (Telehandlers) and smooth surface forklifts.
CPR/First Aid/AED Class
Our CPR/First AID/AED class is offered as an “all-in-one” training class or can be broken up and offered separately. We can conduct this class at your site or an offsite location.
HAZWOPER Training
We offer the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) training program to protect workers at hazardous sites or those workers required to perform hazardous response. All of our HAZWOPER courses comply with OSHA 1910.120 regulations. Our list of classes include:
- 8-HR Awareness Level Class
- 8-HR Operations Level Class
- 24-HR Technician Level Class
- 40-HR Specialist Level Class
- 8-HR Incident Command Level Class (to betaken in addition to the 24-HR Technician
Level Class) - 8-HR Annual Refresher
Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP)
Formerly known as Aerial Work Platforms, Our MEWP Training provides the required hands-on and classroom instruction required by ANSI 92.22 with operating techniques to train students in the safe operation of the equipment. At the end of the class students will be able to:
- Conduct site risk assessments to identify hazards
- Develop emergency rescue plans
- Conduct MEWP inspections to identify
equipment safety hazards - Prepare proper documentation and record retention
Our First Responder course starts where Standard First Aid and AED Provider courses leave off. Our First Responder courses, recognized across North America, have two target audiences. The first is the lay rescuer who would like to know more than they learned in a standard First Aid course. Teachers, lifeguards, security guards, are only some of the professionals who benefit from this course. Businesses setting up Workplace Emergency Response Teams (WERT’s) are another ideal candidate for this training.
Our 8-Hour Confined Space Entry class is designed for workers as entrants, attendants and supervisors working in the general and construction industry. Our class meets all training requirements found in 29 CFR 1910.146 and 29 CFR 1926 AA. Our class fulfills both initial training and refresher training requirements. Major topics in the class include:
- Difference between Permit Required and Non- Permit Required Confined Spaces
- Confined Space Entry Permit
- Roles and Responsibilities of the Entrant, Attendant & Supervisor
- How to Identify and Mitigate Confined Space Hazards
- Confined Space Equipment
- Hazard Control & Lockout/Tagout
